“All the appeal of paranormal romance, action, and excitement—but cleaner, sweeter, and healthier. I read the entire book in a day and a half. Unique, lovely, and going on my favorites shelf.”Erica Richardson (Author)Matching Feathers“I really enjoyed this book. It had an idea for characters that I had never read about before and it had a nice mix of real world and fantasy world. I stayed up all night until I was done reading. I am hoping she will continue this story through some of the other characters I would say it is a good read for late middle school/high school to adults.”

Colin KaufmanFATE CONQUERED“I’ll admit it took me a second to get into this book. I’m not a huge fan of shifter novels. But once I did I couldn’t put it down. I could easily imagine all the scenery, I felt myself drawn into the story deeper and deeper only to be sad when I realized I had finished the book. It’s got me asking questions and curious about more in this world Tara has created. I sincerely hope there are sequels to come. I highly recommend reading this story. The way she writes about each character makes it seem as if you’re almost in the story with them. Like you personally know them. It’s emotional, exciting, romantic and very tasteful. I’ll be passing it along for my girls to read, so they too can escape into this story as deeply as I did.”
Autumn Bonickmatching feathers“This story takes the fantasy realm road and then goes off on its own path and wraps you quickly up into the characters, magic, friendships and villains. I just loved the horse Nishia. I was pleasantly surprised at the way magic was weaved in and out with just the right amount of attention drawn to it. The shock of the betrayal in the dungeon and the horrid chains was so imaginative and the outcome was surprising but totally solid. I started to read the book and got half way through and just knew my husband would like to read it with me. I started it over and we took turns reading aloud. It was easy to use voice emotions that you can clearly understand through the way the story is written. Thank you Tara for writing such a great story and we are definitely looking forward to the next book!“

She looked up from reading and said this book is so good, when is Tara writing number 2? At the end of the book she ran downstairs and was giggling and said she loved the book. Noel is an avid reader and reads everything that she can get her hands on. However, she is very picky about what she likes. She said that the characters in this book are real, and make real life decisions that make sense for the characters. She liked that alot about this book, and cannot wait for book 2! Thank you Tara for writing something that caught my teenagers attention and brought out a giggle and excitement! ❤❤❤❤”
Chariti A. Smithmatching feathers“More than just youth fiction. This book is marketed as being targeted to 13-18 year old readers, but this grandfather thoroughly enjoyed this book. It flows well, has plenty of character development, a carefully crafted world with consistent rules regarding how magic works and influences society within it, and has a wonderful blend of action, intrigue, and plot twists to keep the reader’s attention and spark imagination. I love that there wasn’t anything in it that challenged my traditional religious conservative worldview. I didn’t feel like I was being preached at regarding any of our current world issues. This was just a straightforward fun read and I was able to leave the modern world behind as I explored Tara’s world. I highly recommend this for all lovers of fantasy books.“
